Great success. People that know me say that this collection is very me. Finally I am on the right way of finding myself.

Designing and prototyping creates a lot of waste. (In the end it will be fine, I can use the small pieces, paper can be recycled... But it's still very time consuming and in the end people don't understand why it costs so much, the material was free! But think about the time one puts into making it, it is terribly time consuming. This is something I have learnt by making this collection.

The upper of the sandals is made of billboard and lining is leather. Leather would strech out without using a special tape or fabric, so I thought that I will use the billboard as anti-stretch and I think the material looks cool, kind of trashy. Very punk.

This is kind of how I perfer to choose materials + I am able to use small pieces not just cut them out of a whole leather or some other material. This light green rubber is a broken exercise ball that I got from the "floor".

Yea, I have collected all the tiny pieces, and ofcourse I will take them with me when I will move back to Tallinn. I will make a lot of tiny bags out of those.

Making sandals.

Allmost ready.

My room few weeks before the show.
I cleaned it allmost every day but after a few hours of working I ended up the same way.

Idea I came across to, these x-holes keep the upper in the loops of women's shoes. Super!

Another idea for fastening the blanket-backpack.

The next step after sketching, the best way to get the proportions right. But also, you can imagine how much paper waste it creates + all the time you put into it. But ofcourse, the more experience the quicker it goes.
